A Box You Address, or a Link They Claim?

You address it. BOXFOX, Packed with Purpose and Personalized Gifts Delivered ship a set gift to the home address you give. The employee does nothing; the box ships to their door. You need home addresses, which a small team may not keep in one place: our guide to collecting employees' home addresses has an opt-in form and email script.

They claim it. Caroo, Goody, Snappy and Sugarwish send a link or e-gift, and the employee accepts or picks. Goody and Snappy say recipients enter their own address. Sugarwish treats "ship once the recipient makes their pick", and Snappy's On Demand Plus swag is "printed upon gift claim". You don't need home addresses, and each person chooses. Christmas Cutoffs in Date Order

For Personalized Gifts Delivered: Ships within 2 business days of a complete order (your design, your address list and payment). Ships by USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground, with tracking, and usually arrives 2–5 business days after it ships. Delivery dates are carrier estimates, not guarantees, and run slower in mid-December.

Gift Card or Gift Box? What IRS Publication 15-B Says

Several options here can send a gift card (Goody's Pro plan lists "Send gift cards from hundreds of brands"). For employees, the IRS treats cards differently from things.

IRS Publication 15-B (2026), De Minimis (Minimal) Benefits: "Cash and cash equivalent fringe benefits (for example, gift certificates, gift cards, and the use of a charge card or credit card), no matter how little, are never excludable as a de minimis benefit." Among its examples of de minimis benefits: "Holiday or birthday gifts, other than cash, with a low fair market value (FMV)." (IRS, read Oct 29, 2026)

What Sending a Box to Each Employee Yourself Takes

Yes: you can pack and ship them yourself, and by our estimate 25 logo mug gift boxes take about 9 hours of hands-on work, plus a week or more waiting for supplies: a mug printer and its proof (about 1 hour), about 8 supply orders (about 1 hour), the address list and 25 labels (about 1½ hours), 25 cards (about 45 minutes), packing at about 8 minutes a box (about 3½ hours), and drop-off and tracking (about 1 hour). Our DIY cost comparison priced 25 boxes at about $38 each with USPS counter postage (about $34 with commercial postage), with $1,192.84 up front for the mugs, the retail supply packs and 25 postage labels. One slip costs a second round: a mug packed without a collar can break at the handle, and a stale address sends a box away and back.

Ordering from us, by contrast: upload a logo (or type your website), paste the list, check the preview, pay. We print, pack and ship each box to its own address.

What to Know Before You Order

• Where we ship. The lower 48 states and Washington, DC, except Texas for now; no Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other US territories, APO/FPO addresses or other countries. The order page flags those rows, so you can fix them or take them out before you pay; everything else on your list stays as it is.
• Home addresses. A box at the door needs one per person. The list can be typed, pasted, a CSV or a Google Sheet, and the order page reads messy lists.
• The treats. LINDOR truffles contain milk, soy and barley malt (gluten); read the labels.
• The date. For Christmas delivery, order by Tuesday, December 15; that date covers printing your logo, packing and shipping.
