Yes: you can build it yourself, and by our estimate 25 of these boxes take about 9 hours of hands-on work, plus a week or more waiting for supplies. Besides finding a mug printer and approving a proof, that means about 8 separate orders (gift boxes, tissue, seal stickers, cards and envelopes, foam, shipping cartons, crinkle, cocoa, truffles), then about 8 minutes of packing per box. ## Will the Chocolate Melt in the Mail?

It can soften if the trip is warm. Lake Champlain Chocolates, a chocolate shipper, warns that "exposure to heat and humidity can cause the chocolate to bloom or melt", and for "shipments during the summer months and year-round to warm weather destinations" it adds insulation and "gel ice packs" ([Lake Champlain Chocolates](https://www.lakechamplainchocolates.com/shipping-chocolate)).

Our box has no ice pack. The truffles ride inside the mug, under a 1 in foam pad, inside the gift box, inside a carton with crinkle around it. If your recipient lives somewhere warm, they may arrive soft.

Ships by USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground, with tracking, and usually arrives 2–5 business days after it ships.
