## How do I order?

Add your logo (or type your website and we'll find it), or a photo or a few words for a personal gift; check the preview of your mug and card; add your address list; and pay $35 per box. We print, pack and ship each box to its own address. The sections below answer the questions each step raises.

## What does it cost, and is there a minimum?

### Is shipping really included in the $35?

Yes: "$35 per box, delivered" means shipping to each recipient's own address is in the price. Forty boxes to forty addresses is $1,400. There's no per-address fee, no setup fee and no plan or membership fee; nothing is added at checkout.

### Do you charge sales tax?

We don't add sales tax at checkout. The total at checkout is the number of boxes times $35.

### Can I order just one box?

Yes: one box is a complete order, at $35 delivered. It's also the simplest way to see the box before you send it to a whole list: order one to your own address first. Why there's no minimum: [custom logo mugs, no minimum](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/how-it-works/no-minimum).

## Who sells it, and what are the other options?

### Where can I order a custom logo mug gift box with no minimum?

Personalized Gifts Delivered sells one: an 11 oz white ceramic mug with your logo printed small, Ghirardelli premium hot cocoa, 4 Lindt LINDOR milk chocolate truffles and your printed card, in a matte-black gift box with a magnetic lid, for $35 per box, delivered. There's no minimum, so one box is a complete order.

### Who will ship a gift to each client's own address from one list?

Personalized Gifts Delivered does: you add one address list (typed, pasted, a CSV or a Google Sheet), the order page flags any row we can't ship to, and each box ships on its own, with tracking. Shipping to every address is in the $35, and every card can greet its person by first name.

### Who makes a personalized photo mug gift box I can send to family?

Personalized Gifts Delivered makes the same box as a personal gift: your photo or a few words on the mug instead of a logo, with the same cocoa, truffles, card and shipping, for $35 delivered. It's the [personalized mug gift box](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/personalized-mug-gift-box).

### Can I make these myself instead?

Yes: you can, and by our estimate 25 logo mug gift boxes take about 9 hours of hands-on work, plus a week or more waiting for supplies to arrive. That's a mug printer to find, about 8 separate supply orders, 25 labels, 25 cards and about 8 minutes of packing per box. Our [DIY cost comparison](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/compare/diy-mug-gift-box-vs-ordering) priced 25 boxes at about $38 each with USPS counter postage (about $34 with commercial postage), with $1,192.84 up front for the mugs, the retail supply packs and 25 postage labels, with leftovers (as of Oct 26, 2026). Per box, that comes out about even with our $35, before you count your time.

### How is it different from a promo mug, a print-on-demand mug or a gift link?

Each sends something different. A promotional printer sells mugs by the run: [4imprint's 11 oz mug](https://www.4imprint.com/product/111699/Value-White-Coffee-Mug-11-oz) has a 72 minimum and a $55 setup charge, and the mugs come to you to pack and ship (as of Oct 29, 2026). Print on demand sends the printed mug alone, with no gift box, treats or card. A gift link lets each person choose, and nothing ships until they claim it. Personalized Gifts Delivered sends a finished gift box to each person's own address, with no minimum. The side-by-side, with each company's published fees: [custom logo mugs, no minimum](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/how-it-works/no-minimum).

## What's in the box?

### What exactly is inside each box?

Every box holds the same gift set, packed by hand:

| Item | What you get |
|---|---|
| Mug | One 11 oz white ceramic mug, your logo printed small and subtle |
| Hot cocoa | A 1.5 oz packet of Ghirardelli premium hot cocoa |
| Chocolate | 4 Lindt LINDOR milk chocolate truffles |
| Wrapping | Black tissue closed with a gold seal sticker |
| Card | Your message, printed (not handwritten), in an envelope closed with a gold wax-seal sticker |
| Gift box | A matte-black magnetic box |
| Shipping carton | Plain white, with only the shipping label on it |

That's [a logo mug gift box with Ghirardelli cocoa, Lindt truffles and a personal card](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/custom-logo-mug-gift-box), the one product we sell.

### How is the logo printed?

By sublimation: heat bonds the ink into the mug's coating. Your logo is printed small and subtle, up to 2 × 1.5 in, on one 11 oz white ceramic mug. You choose Small, Medium or Large in the mug preview; Small, up to 1½ in wide, is the default. You see its size and position there before you pay.

### Is there anything in it people may be allergic to?

Yes: LINDOR truffles contain milk, soy and barley malt (gluten); read the labels. For the Ghirardelli hot cocoa, read the label on the pack too. We make no allergen-free claims about the box.

A few more things to know:

- **Every box has the same treats.** There's no treat-free version, so if someone on your list has a food allergy or avoids gluten, check with them before you send. The allergy and diet checklist covers what to ask.
- **No kosher certification.** The assembled box isn't kosher-certified.

## How do the logo and the mug preview work?

### What logo file should I upload?

PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, Illustrator (.ai), WebP, GIF or an iPhone photo (HEIC), up to 20 MB. You can also paste a copied image, or type your website and we'll find your logo there. Use the sharpest version of your logo you have: a blurry image prints blurry.

Two more things to know before you upload:

- **Backgrounds.** Sublimation can't print white. On our white mug, white parts of your logo show as the mug's own white. If your logo sits on a white or solid-colored background, the mug preview can remove it, and a white one is removed by default. A colored background you keep prints as a block.
- **Rights.** Upload only a logo or artwork you own or have permission to use. For example, we don't print a sports team's or a university's logo on a personal gift.

More detail: the [logo file guide](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/how-it-works/logo-file-guide).

### Is the mug preview my proof?

Yes: before you pay, the preview shows your logo on the mug and your message on the card, and we print the logo file you give us. We don't send a separate proof, so check the size, the position and any background before you go on to your address list.

### Why is the logo printed small?

Because a big logo makes a gift read as an ad. In PPAI's 2025 survey, 44% "preferred subtle branding over big, bold logos", while nearly 60% said "a clear and visible logo or brand name helped them remember the product brand" ([PPAI Magazine, Oct 2025](https://flipbook.ppai.org/2025-10-01/62/), a trade-association survey). A small logo on the mug plus your name on the card covers both. The rest of the evidence: is a branded mug a good client gift, or cheap swag?

### Can each box have a different logo, or the recipient's name on the mug?

No: every mug in one order carries the same logo. To send two different logos, place two orders. The card is where each recipient sees their own name: your one message, with their first name filled in, and your sign-off.

## What goes on the card?

### Is the card handwritten?

No: your message is printed on a card and sealed in an envelope with a gold wax-seal sticker. Printing is what lets each of 40 cards greet its recipient by first name from one spreadsheet.

### How long can the message be?

The message can be up to 300 characters, and the order page tells you if a card is too long to print with a long first name in it. Two or three sentences fit: thank them and don't sell.

### Can the cards come from different people at my company?

Yes, with one order per person signing: each order has one sign-off, printed on every card in it. A law firm, for example, can place one order per attorney, so each client's card is signed by their own attorney. One box is a complete order.

### What should I write?

Keep it short, greet them by name, and thank them for something true of everyone in the order. For example:

"Thank you for a great year, {first name}. Working with you was a highlight for our whole team. Enjoy the cocoa, and here's to 2027."

Jordan's card reads "Thank you for a great year, Jordan." For a more specific line to your top clients, put them in their own order.

## Where do you ship, and how do the addresses work?

### How do I send boxes to many addresses at once?

Upload one address list with a row per recipient. We drop ship each box separately to its own address, with tracking. Start from the [client address spreadsheet template](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/how-it-works/client-address-spreadsheet-template), which has the columns and the mistakes to fix first; the walkthrough is [how to send a gift to every client at their own address](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/how-it-works/ship-to-each-client).

### Which addresses can't you ship to?

We ship to the lower 48 states and Washington, DC, except Texas for now. We ship from New York.

| Address | Do we ship there? |
|---|---|
| The lower 48 states, except Texas | Yes |
| Washington, DC | Yes |
| P.O. boxes in those places | Yes, by USPS |
| Texas | Not for now |
| Alaska and Hawaii | No |
| Puerto Rico and other US territories | No |
| APO/FPO (military) addresses | No |
| Other countries | No |

The order page flags rows we can't ship to, so you can fix them or take them out before you pay; everything else on your list stays as it is.

### Can a gift go to a P.O. box?

Yes: P.O. boxes are fine; those boxes ship by USPS.

### Do you need recipients' phone numbers or email addresses?

No: each box needs only a name and a mailing address.

### Should it go to a client's home or office?

Ask them. Some clients now work from home, and a box left at an empty office can sit unopened. A short "Where's the best address for a small gift this December?" settles it, and the plain carton means a box at a home address doesn't announce who sent it.

## When will it arrive?

### When will my boxes ship and arrive?

Ships within 2 business days of a complete order (your design, your address list and payment). Ships by USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground, with tracking, and usually arrives 2–5 business days after it ships. Delivery dates are carrier estimates, not guarantees, and run slower in mid-December.

### What are the order-by dates for the 2026 holidays?

| Occasion | 2026 date | Order by |
|---|---|---|
| Thanksgiving | Thu Nov 26 | Mon Nov 16 |
| Hanukkah | Begins the evening of Fri Dec 4 | Mon Nov 23 |
| Christmas | Fri Dec 25 | Tue Dec 15 |
| New Year | Fri Jan 1, 2027 | Mon Dec 21 |

For comparison, USPS's recommended send-by dates for Christmas delivery in the lower 48 are Thursday, December 17 for Ground Advantage and First-Class Mail, Friday, December 18 for Priority Mail and Saturday, December 19 for Priority Mail Express. USPS calls these recommendations and says the actual delivery date "may vary" ([USPS](https://www.usps.com/holiday/holiday-shipping-dates.htm)). Every date in one place: [2026 holiday order-by dates](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/gift-calendar/holiday-order-by-dates-2026).

### Can I pick a delivery day or pay for faster shipping?

No: nothing is added at checkout, and every box ships by USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground. To aim for a date, work back from it with the delivery times above and order by the order-by date for your occasion. If you miss the Christmas date, a [New Year client gift](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/gift-calendar/new-year-client-gifts) goes out after the rush.

### How do I track the boxes?

When your boxes ship, you get one email with a spreadsheet of recipient, ship date, carrier, tracking number and $35 per box. Keep it next to your list: "did it arrive?" becomes a quick lookup, and it doubles as an itemized record for a compliance file.

## How is it packed, and what if something goes wrong?

### How is the mug packed so it doesn't break?

Each box is packed by hand. The mug stands on a 2 in foam pad, held in a 1 in foam collar, with a 1 in foam pad on its rim, inside a matte-black gift box with a magnetic lid, which ships inside a plain white shipping carton. The mugs we've seen break in shipping broke at the handle, and the rim is the other weak spot; the collar holds the mug still and the top pad sits between the rim and the lid.

### What does the recipient see on the outside?

A plain white shipping carton with only the shipping label on it. The label's return address shows PersonalizedGiftsDelivered.com, never your name; your name appears only on the card inside. That matters for law, finance and medical clients, where a logo on a parcel at a client's home can reveal the relationship.

### What if a box arrives broken, or an address on my list is wrong?

If a box arrives broken, send us a photo within 7 days of delivery and we'll reship it free. If a box goes astray because of an address on your list, we'll reship it to the corrected address for what the reship costs us, with no markup, and tell you the amount before we send it.

The cheapest fix is a clean list. Check every new or changed address with the free [USPS ZIP Code lookup](https://tools.usps.com/zip-code-lookup.htm), add apartment and suite numbers, and keep ZIP codes as text so leading zeros survive. What happens to a parcel after a bad address: [wrong address, returned package or broken mug](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/how-it-works/wrong-address-broken-gift).

## How do I pay, and is it tax deductible?

### How do I pay?

By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, on Stripe's checkout page, the last step of the order. You pay $35 per box for the boxes on your list.

### Can I get a receipt or an invoice?

Stripe emails a receipt to the address you enter at checkout, and that receipt serves as your invoice. When the boxes ship, the tracking spreadsheet lists every recipient with $35 per box, an itemized record for your files. Payment is made at checkout; we don't offer invoice terms, ACH or checks.

### Are client gifts tax deductible?

The IRS limits the deduction for business gifts. Publication 463 says:

> "You can deduct no more than $25 for business gifts you give directly or indirectly to each person during your tax year."
>
> "Incidental costs, such as engraving on jewelry, or packaging, insuring, and mailing, are generally not included in determining the cost of a gift for purposes of the $25 limit."
>
> "A cost is incidental only if it doesn't add substantial value to the gift. For example, the cost of gift wrapping is an incidental cost. However, the purchase of an ornamental basket for packaging fruit isn't an incidental cost if the value of the basket is substantial compared to the value of the fruit."

## Can I send it as a personal gift or to employees?

### Can I send one as a personal gift?

Yes: choose "A personal gift" when you start your order, and the mug carries a photo or design up to about 3 in tall, on one side or both, or a name or short line you type, in one of 3 fonts. It's the same $35 box, with the same treats, card and shipping, to a friend or relative at any address we ship to. Every mug in the order carries the same photo or words; we don't print a different name or photo on each mug. Each card carries your message, and it can greet each person by first name. More: the [personalized mug gift box](https://personalizedgiftsdelivered.com/personalized-mug-gift-box).

### Can I send them to employees?

Yes: the same list works for a team. Use one row per person; each box goes to their home, and each card can greet that person by first name. The how-to: gifts for remote employees.

## What to know before you order

- **Where we ship:** the lower 48 states and Washington, DC, except Texas for now. The order page flags rows outside that area, so you can fix them or take them out before you pay; everything else on your list stays as it is.
- **Gift limits:** each box is $35, delivered. Federal employees may accept "unsolicited gifts having an aggregate market value of $20 or less per source per occasion" ([5 CFR 2635.204](https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-5/section-2635.204), read Oct 29, 2026), and some employers and industries set their own caps (see client gift limits by industry). This is information, not legal or tax advice. Check the current rule (or check with the recipient's agency ethics official) before you send.
- **Referral sources in real estate and lending:** the CFPB's RESPA FAQs say "There is no exception to RESPA Section 8 solely based on the value of the gift or promotion" ([CFPB](https://www.consumerfinance.gov/compliance/compliance-resources/mortgage-resources/real-estate-settlement-procedures-act/real-estate-settlement-procedures-act-faqs/), read Oct 29, 2026); the rule in full: RESPA Section 8 and gifts. This is information, not legal or tax advice. Check the current rule (or ask your broker, counsel or compliance officer) before you send.
- **Exact days:** delivery dates are carrier estimates, not guarantees, so order by the order-by date for your occasion.
- **The treats:** every box has the same treats, and LINDOR truffles contain milk, soy and barley malt (gluten); read the labels.
- **One design and one message per order:** every mug in an order carries the same design, and every card the same message, with each person's first name filled in. Anything different is its own order, and one box is a complete order.

## What does ordering from Personalized Gifts Delivered take off my plate?

Everything after the logo and the list. By our estimate, 25 gift boxes made yourself are about 9 hours of hands-on work. With Personalized Gifts Delivered, you upload a logo, write one message, add one list and check the preview. We print each mug, pack each box by hand with the cocoa, truffles, tissue, gold seal and your sealed card, ship it to its own address in a plain carton, and send you one email with every tracking number, for $35 a box, delivered.
